Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Provide a Base Bid Price for the completion of all fire separation deficiencies to ensure code compliance as outlined in the drawings and specifications for the entire site of 1050 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury. Work will consist of (but not limited to):
New firestopping at penetrations through fire separations, New firestopping at empty holes in vertical fire separations from abandoned routing of services, Remediation of unrated openings though fire separations in both gypsum wall board conditions and concrete block conditions, New hollow metal doors and frames where missing fire label, New fire stop joint spray at fire separations, New firestop/fire spray at flutes of metal decking, New tape and compound at fire rated gypsum wall board separations, Replacement of aluminum framing at screens/doors in a fire rated separation with Hollow Metal.
Refer to consultant generated plans and specifications for further detailed scope of work.

Event Note

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 in ITT document. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at 1050 Notre Dame Ave, Sudbury, ON,. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com by May 29, 2023 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid.

COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures.

Proponents are to meet at the Front Lobby of the Building and are to ensure that they register their name and title as well as their company name with BGIS.
