Description

The scope of work for the exterior cladding repairs at the Canada Post (CPC) facility, located at 74 James Street in Parry Sound includes the following:

-           Localized face brick removal and resetting;
-           Mortar joint repointing;
-           Mortar joint back pointing;
-           Window perimeter joint sealant renewal;
-           Stone delamination repair;
-           Targeted masonry cleaning.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Bids submitted at $100,000 or greater must upload the following bid security (“Bid Security”) in Merx:

a bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days following Closing Date; and
a confirmation from the Bidder’s surety (a performance bond and labor and materials payment bond, each in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price + Value Added Taxes) that, upon the Bidder being selected as the Selected Bidder, to furnish any contract security prescribed in the Contract in respect of the Work.
