Description

Replace all heaters located in main entrances and emergency exits of all three (3) buildings (15 Eddy, 25 Eddy, 1 Place du Portage) Excluding 10 Wellington. The heaters were subject to premature deterioration because of prolonged exposure to salt. There is a total of thirty-four (34) heaters. The majority of them are fed by heating hot water apart from five (5) that are electric. The contractor shall also address salt damage to the heaters.

Event Note

Bidders are advised that there will be an MANDATORY site visit to be held on the date and times specified above. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the MANDATORY site visit. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at LTDLC 15 eddy post 143, GATINEAU, QC. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times.
All individuals attending the site visit must bring their Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.
