Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
To install one standalone universal washroom at the lobby level janitor’s closet that is in compliance with the latest versions of NBCC, including Ontario amendments, CSA B651 Accessible design for the built environment and the Federal Identity Program (FIP). The current janitors slop sink should be relocated to the loading dock cleaner’s storage area where current plumbing will need to be modified.

Event Note

Proponents are to meet at the Front Lobby of the Building and are to ensure that they register their name and title as well as their company name with BGIS.

Bidders are advised that there will be an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 2.6.15 in ITT document. A maximum of one representative of each Bidder, or its authorized representative, are permitted to attend the OPTIONAL site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at 55 Bay Street North, Hamilton, ON. Site visits will be conducted in small groups. Bidders are advised that they must preregister via email to Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com by August 18, 2023 to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Bidder’s Representative being refused access to the site. BGIS will contact all Bidders that register and confirm the site visit time in the case when there are multiple site visit times. Bidders are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid. Bidders will be notified of any changes to the date of the site visit by Addenda.

COVID-19 Site Specific Safety Plans and social distancing must be adhered to at all times where possible. All individuals are to follow Federal and Provincial guidelines as they relate to Covid 19 preventative measures.
