Description

Scope of Work/Overview:
Study to analyze the condition of the retaining wall and provide options for replacement and cost estimates. GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) survey is required in spot locations to determine the extent of reinforcing steel corrosion and/or deterioration. Consultant is to investigate the surrounding area ie, adjacent Building (South side) and the roadside (East side) for any potential issues to are or could impact the retaining wall. Upon completing the surveys an engineering analysis of the findings must be completed to develop a reasonable rehabilitation and/or replacement plan for the retaining wall. consultant is also to provide the current life cycle on the existing wall.

Event Note

Proponents are to meet at the Front Lobby of the Building and are to ensure that they register their name and title as well as their company name with BGIS.

Respondents are advised that there will be an Optional site visit to be held on the date and times specified within the item 1.4 in the RFQ document. A maximum of one representative of each Respondent, or its authorized representative, is permitted to attend the Optional site visit. Attendees will meet the BGIS Representative at 11 Station Street, Belleville, ON. Respondents are advised that they must preregister via email to (Rajesh.Gupta@bgis.com) by (May 16, 2025 before 2:00 pm) to be authorized to access the site. Failure to register may result in the Respondents representative being refused access to the site. For mandatory site visits, Respondents are only required to attend one scheduled site visit to be eligible to bid.
