GOC417977 - Replace Pipe Insulation with new

Statement of Work/Overview:
 
To replace pipe insulation with new.
 
Scope of work includes but not limited to:
 
Remove existing insulation and install new insulation for four horizontal heat exchangers and connected piping located in Boiler Room.  Replace damaged installations for all pumps and connected piping located in Boiler Room for Main Building.  Insulate floor 1S306, the steam line running below this floor makes it very hot for the staff above during the winter season.  To help save on the energy efficiency of the heating system plus reduce amount of condensation currently dripping due to poor condition of existing insulation.  Consultant to complete evaluation and provide recommendations for repair/replacement as required.  Consultant to develop scope of work for Mechanical Contractor, assist through procurement and oversee for completion of contractor’s work.  Environmental Consultant to provide hazardous materials report and provide oversight and reporting for insulation removal, as required.  If necessary, architectural consultant to comment on floor insulation and provide other services as required.
