For this specific project, the minimum-security requirement on Personnel Clearance Level is PWGSC Reliability & RCMP Facility Access 2 (FA2) / Enhanced Reliability Status (ERS) (RRS) and on Organizational Level is Designated Organizational Screening (DOS).

Bids submitted at $100,000 or greater must upload the following bid security (“Bid Security”) in Merx:

1. a bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days following Closing Date; and
2. a confirmation from the Bidder’s surety (a performance bond and labor and materials payment bond, each in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price + Value Added Taxes) that, upon the Bidder being selected as the Selected Bidder, to furnish any contract security prescribed in the Contract in respect of the Work.
