As per the requirements of Section 6.8 of the 2015 National Fire Code of Canada (NFCC), interconnections between fire protection and life safety systems must be tested in accordance with CAN/ULC-S1001 "Integrated Systems Testing of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems". The implementation of an Integrated Test Plan to permit the performance of this test is required at 5 year intervals as per CAN/ULC-S1001.
The intent of this project is to create and implement testing methodology for verification, documentation and operations of interconnections between fire protection and life safety systems of BC immigration holding centre and that it be tested as per CAN/ULC-S1001 "Integrated Systems Testing of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems". This project is intended to satisfy the requirements of Integrated systems testing as required by NBC, NFC, and other applicable codes. Consultant shall engage all required design professionals, relvant sub-contractors as required, installing contractors, verifying parties as required to create the test plans, identify all interconnected systems and required sequence of operations, identify integration or system issues and provide recommendations, and also be responsible for oversight and implementation of the prescribed tests and provide necessary documentation at the time of completion of the project.
Final Study Report to include Testing Procedures, Final testing results and Any recommendations or rectification to split in two distinct section of code compliance and nice to have features, based on actual test results performed for this report.
