Description

The project intent is to install VFD’s on both existing chillers in the penthouses of building 6 & 7. The work includes, but is not limited to:

Disconnect electrical equipment.
Replace existing control board with new.
Install new VFD on chiller
Reconnect electrical equipment
Connect VFD to Building Automation System.
Commissioning of system

Project intent at this point in time for fiscal 2016-2017 is to proceed for full implementation. The Work will have to be completed in the following order :

Building 6 – PWG417630-1 - No later than March 31, 2017
Building 7 – PWG417631-1 - No later than March 31, 2017

All Respondents interested in participating in this tender requirement are to register in advance by returning the document Ellis Don Site Access Pre-Registration Form by December 21, 2016 before 2:00 pm. Email a completed version of the form to procurement.carlingtunneys@brookfieldgis.com.

Each firm will be limited to a maximum allocation of two attendees for this showing. Minimum Reliability is required to access the construction site. Escorting of un-cleared personnel is NOT permitted.
Firms failing to pre-register within the stipulated time frame may not be granted access to the site on the date of the job showing and therefore not able to submit a compliant bid.

Event Note

Respondents who have pre-registered may attend a mandatory site meeting. Respondents are to meet Miguel Valiquette (613-889-5309) at the WEST entrance of Building 2 at the Carling Campus, 3500 Carling Avenue Ottawa Ontario. Bidders will require government issued photo ID to sign in with security and to sign the mandatory Site Visit Attendance Sheet.
Only pre-registered personnel will be granted access.
The following PPE must be worn to attend the job showing:
1. Hard hat
2. Safety glasses
3. 6 inch high steal toe boots ( Green triangle tag)
4. High visibility safety vest
5. Long pants and sleaved shirt no dresses/shorts
6. No cut off shirts
