Description

The project intent is to repair the chiller #1 compressor Existing Chiller: York, Model: Millennium Centrifugal Chiller, Model #: YTG3A3E1-CNJ, Serial #: GHJM 25109 in the penthouse of building 9. The work involved but not limited to:

Disconnect/isolate Chiller/electrical equipment.
Supply and install the following parts

New Compressor Parts:
Gear Box: 029-14400-510
Shaft Seal Replacement kit: 464-47829
Gasket Kit: 364-47948
Seal O-Ring: 028-10875
Seal O-Ring: 028-11951
Gasket Differential Kit: 064-47451
Bearing Kit: 364-47949

Ring Seal: 064-47586
Ring, Eye Seal: 064-47784

Commissioning of system
Cleaning of premises

Project intent at this point in time for fiscal 2016-2017 is to proceed for full implementation. The Work will have to be completed no later than March 31, 2017.

All Respondents interested in participating in this tender requirement are to register in advance by returning the document Ellis Don Site Access Pre-Registration Form by December 30, 2016 before 2:00 pm. Email a completed version of the form to procurement.carlingtunneys@brookfieldgis.com.

Each firm will be limited to a maximum allocation of two attendees for this showing. Minimum Reliability is required to access the construction site. Escorting of un-cleared personnel is NOT permitted.
Firms failing to pre-register within the stipulated time frame may not be granted access to the site on the date of the job showing and therefore not able to submit a compliant bid.

Respondents who have pre-registered may attend a mandatory site meeting. Respondents are to meet Stephen Lynch (613-806-4005) at 3500 Carling Ave, Ottawa, Building 6-7 Ellis Don Security Trailer – South/East Campus. Bidders will require government issued photo ID to sign in with security and to sign the mandatory Site Visit Attendance Sheet.
Only pre-registered personnel will be granted access.
The following PPE must be worn to attend the job showing:
1. Hard hat
2. Safety glasses
3. 6 inch high steal toe boots ( Green triangle tag)
4. High visibility safety vest
5. Long pants and sleeved shirt no dresses/shorts
6. No cut off shirts
