GOC376682, 376882, 376918, 377013 - Water Treatment upgrades and construction of mechanical storage

Procurement of a consultant as the sites require a mechanical water treatment system and possibly a separate shed to contain the equipment as there is limited space inside the new Port buildings. The sites currently use well water of which have high mineral and tannins content and possible manganese. The water is neither drinkable nor soft and is causing issues with the mechanical systems currently on site such as the high efficient boiler system used for heating of water and in floor heating. CBSA is requesting that water treatment systems be installed at the Port which would help improve the Ports water quality as well as the housing units being occupied by their staff. This may include commercial RO system; water softener and carbon filter systems to improve the water quality for the Port and the residential properties that staff occupies on site. The site will require professional design services for the water treatment needed as well as engineering and design for suitable housing designed to meet required environment to store all the water treatment equipment that will be required
