GOC377019 - Sprinkler Mains

Statement of Work/Overview:
As a result of the emergency sprinkler pipe repairs done to one of the main sprinkler lines in building D under PW 131763, preventative repairs will be done to the remaining two main sprinkler lines located in the office area and the disposal room area.  System wide assessment should be completed to determine if piping is at risk of failure.  P&S to be completed followed by Implementation.  Due to the high potential failure condition of the original sprinkler lines from 1972, it is recommended that the sprinkler system piping receive immediate metallurgical analysis.  The expected life of the system is 35 years and since it was installed in 1972 it is a concern.  .
