Description

God’s Lake Narrows
The intent of this project is to build a dock off the RCMP’s property in God’s Lake for RCMP operational use. Dock must be removeable for winter season. Potential option is a floating dock; consultant to investigate options. Waterway requirements to be determined during design.
Little Grand Rapids
The intent of this project is to replace the dock and dock foundation posts for the dock on the airport side of the community and the one at the detachment. Waterway requirements to be determined during design.
On the RCMP side, there is currently a fixes section with a floating dock affixed to the end. The new dock on this side can be a fixed/permanent dock and can remain in the water during winter. On the airport side, there is currently no dock. There are 3 “causeways” in front of the lodge extending into the water; RCMP would like to investigate building something similar. Otherwise, the dock should be removeable during the winter season
