GOC658640-PAL-RFP - Consultant Services - Installation of CCTV System

Statement of Work/Overview:
A request has been made by Public Works of Canada to address the increased security risks regarding the Federal Office Building of Canada located at 130 Syndicate Ave., Thunder Bay, ON.
 
Scope of work includes but not limited to:
A consulant is required to design for the installation of a CCTV system at the Federal Office Building of Canada located at 130 Syndicate Avenue, in Thunder Bay, ON.  The number of cameras required for optimal performance are to be identified by the successful consultant. Minimum number of cameras to cover exterior perimeter based on preliminary internal assessment is estimated to be 8 high definition cameras (consultant to validate this estimate and may suggest more as necessary). The successful consultant is expected to design a system that will have sufficient capacity to add additional coverage if required in the future. The consultant is expected to work closely with all internal stakholders invested in this project, in addition (and not limited to), the expectation to verify the proposed camera location design with the Heritage Manager, in order to agree on specific placement of the cameras to preserve the building's heritage status.
The consultant must also include for one surveillance monitor to be supplied with the on-site commissionaire, as well as one surveillance monitor to be placed in the Brookfield Global Intergrated Solutions office for monitoring. Target completion of tender drawing package is March 31, 2017, with the contractor procurement, award and implementation of construction to follow in Spring/Summer of 2017
