Description

Replace two (2) reciprocating McQuay chillers, model WHR180D-W, 180T capacity each. Existing chillers use refrigerant R 22. Considerations for new chillers should include efficiency, reliability, flexibility/cooling redundancy at the IAR stage. Other considerations would include chiller type such as centrifugal rather than reciprocating chillers, along with the selection of a refrigerant to reduce environmental impact. Associated piping and insulation, VFDs, electrical and control wiring, refrigerant monitoring system replacement, start-up and commissioning to be included. Two year Project with Plans & Specs complete year 1 and construction year 2.
