Description

During a commercial power outage; this Passenger Elevator does not descend to the lowest level, or open its doors. There is no standby generator at this building; and therefore, it is quite possible that tenants can be trapped inside this elevator during a power outage. Although this elevator was upgraded; during the building retrofit; this battery lowering feature was not installed.
