GOC604224-CS - Fuel Storage System Code Compliance

Statement of Work/Overview:
 
Project is required to correct the deficiencies identified in the most recent fuel storage tank inspection and to be fully compliant. Review of the deficiencies identified to confirm if the list provided in the inspection are valid, and correct as required.
 
The following deficiencies were noted in the report and the system must be altered in order to comply with the code requirements:
1) The fill pipe must terminate outside of the building (CSA B-139.1.0-15 10.1.9)
2) The vent pipes must terminate outside of the building, at least 24” from a building opening (CSA B-139.1.0-15 10.5.1.8)
3) The spill container must meet ULC standards (CSA B-139.1.0-15 10.1.2 b)
4) Shut off valves are required at the tank outlet (CSA B-139.1.0-15
5) An overfill valve is required at the tank (CSA B-139.1.0-15 10.1.3)
6) Base building auxiliary vent pipes must terminate outside of the building, at least 24” from a building opening (CSA B-139.1.0-15 10.5.1.8)
7) The bottom supply is not permitted (CSA B-139.1.0-15 6.2.2)
8) An anti-siphon valve is required (CSA B-139.1.1-15 6.6.3)
