GOC604292-CS - Building Exterior Cladding Implementation

Remove all mortar joint on the brickwork masonry, remove damaged, cut or cracked brick and replace with new brick matching existing color. Remove any sealant used on the brickwork masonry walls. Reset bricks where required. Repoint entire brick masonry with the proper mortar type after mortar analysis is completed. Remove and replace any architectural concrete block that are damage, spalling or cracked. Reset architectural concrete blocks where required. Repoint mortar joint at concrete blocks also using lime-based mortar. Add weep holes at the bottom of all masonry walls and above openings where required. Clean all elevations surfaces of the building (bricks, architectural blocks, concrete and parging) from black organic stains, rust stain, vegetation and remove excess paint peeling off. Apply new paint similar to the existing on the painted surfaces. Replace all window sills located on the brick masonry walls with new sill that are rust proof, have the proper slope and drip-edge. Remove rusted wall materials, such as anchors or bolts that are not used. Patch and make good all mechanical pipes. Patch and make good metal structure post and beams. Add new sealant around mechanical wall openings. Add new joint sealant applied horizontally between windows and sealant at full height of vertical control joints located on the brick masonry walls. Remove spalling and broken off parging and foundation, patch and make good surface with new cement. Remove excess broken off and loose concrete parts of underside of pedestrian footbridge. Protect exposed metal reinforcing bars, patch and make good with new concrete for overhead application.
