New backflow valve is required in the water pump room complete with shutoff valves and supervisory signals. Investigate the configuration of the current backflow preventer in the fire pump room and investigate removal of existing 2 backflow preventers and reconfiguring with new DCVA backflow preventer for fire pump room. Alternative option is to replace the 2 existing backflows in the fire pump room.
