Statement of Work/Overview:
The scope of work for a building energy audit must be, at a minimum, consistent with a “Level 2 – Energy Survey and Analysis” as defined in the ASHRAE publication entitled: “Procedures for Commercial Building Energy Audits –Second Edition”. All outlined tasks, methods and steps described in “Part 1” of this guide for this level of audit will make up the minimum requirements for the energy audit. It is the consultant’s responsibility to review/purchase the above publication, Brookfield GIS will not provide this document.
 
The consultant must include, as part of their report, an audit of all water consuming devices and equipment. The water audit must be included as an appendix to the main report and must include water use analysis and water saving measures along with simple payback calculations. A template for this report will be provided by the BGIS Energy/Sustainability Manager.
 
The consultant must include an appendix consisting of a room by room inventory of all existing interior and exterior lighting. This inventory must include fixture, lamp (type and wattage), and ballast information along with spot light level readings taken on site. The consultant must take enough measurements so that is apparent to the average lighting levels throughout the building. A template for this appendix will be provided by the BGIS Energy/Sustainability Manager.
