GOC760802-PAL-RFP - Consultant (Re-Post) - Consultant Services - Roof Repairs at 1050 Notre Dame Sudbury ON

Statement of Work/Overview:
A request has been made by Public Works of Canada to address the roofing condition in need of repairs at the Taxation Centre located at 1050 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury, ON.
 
A reputable and qualified roofing consultant is required to conduct a review of the existing roofing conditions of the site and propose/design solution for repairs to those portions of the roofing composition requiring attention. Upon award of the successful consultant, they will be given recently completed roofing inspection reports to leverage and use as a reference prior to performing your own site review.
 
The roof is 37 years old and has exceeded life expectancy. Previous roofing reports have indicated the need for approx. 16,500 sq/ft of flashing replacement as an urgent repair. The successful consultant is to determine priority of roof repair needs and prepare drawings/specifications to address such concerns. Consultant will be responsible for creation of Investment Analysis Report(s) for client approval in advance of physical roof work commencement.

Clarification:
Re: Article 3.1.1
The successful consultant is not required to provide services in French for this project.
In the rare event that the client elects to request project documentation in French, the BGIS project
manager will engage with a third party translator (to transcribe project documents such as Drawings and
Specifications). If such event occurs, the successful consultant may be required to assist with the BGIS
project manager for transfer of information/files as necessary.
