GOC604387-CS - Domestic-Sanitary Water Pipe Study

Study the condition of the domestic water piping study.  The domestic water service from the city main water system enters into the ground floor of the building at Walkley Rd. The water is distributed to the entire building plumbing fixtures and labs by two in-line pumps. Original install of domestic water pipe was 1993.  Review required to report the condition of the pipe. Domestic water is critical for occupancy.  Review and update existing as built plumbing drawing for Dom Water (Hot and Cold) and Sanitary piping, including all valves and shut-offs.  Inspect Visually, the condition of: hangars (attachment means), insulation, labelling, valves, fire stopping through penetrations and pumps.  Non destructive testing will be required via ultrasonic technology in 30 random locations (10 Domestic Hot, 10 Domestic cold and 10 sanitary) to provide a reasonable determination of pipe wall thickness.  Provide a complete report of findings in addition to a P-IAR identifying options and recommendations of any required deficiencies.  Any below grade floor drains are to be inspected via camera.  Videos to be included with final report.
