GOC451144 - Installation of Standalone Building Intercom System with Employee / Departmental

Statement of Work/Overview:
CONSULTING SERVICES
The objective of this particular project is to secure the facility at all times utilizing the existing access control system and provide a means for visitors attending the location to contact either the relevant department or employee so they can be received at the main entrance door and escorted into the facility from the Public Access Zone at Street Level via the Main Entrance on the East Side of Winnipeg Street.
The installation of a Standalone Building Intercom System with access to either an employee or departmental directory is required as a tool to contact building tenants. 
- The Intercom head end would be installed at the main building entrance and then receiving phones/units in each applicable tenant or operational space - here are three government tenants in this building. .
- Upon a visitor attending the main entrance, they would call the applicable tenant and make awareness of their presence.
- The employee would then attend the main entrance and provide access to their visitor - at the door.
Requirements of the project include: System design and specification, install of the system, consideration for the provision of circuits/network drops, cable pull, installation of head end/receiving units in applicable tenant or operational spaces, set up of the directory, end user training and change management.
The ability to "buzz" visitors into the building must not be provided on the receiving tenant phones/units.
By securing the Main Entrance with an intercom system, a card swipe would need to be installed for tenant access.
Environmental Consultant to be retained to provide intrusive testing of areas affected by the scope of work.
