GOC754287 - Consultant - Deficiencies for Building Science+Architecture on the GSC Building Roof

The engineering evaluation completed by PWGSC identified some areas within the scope of AIP2 that are required to be repaired by the current project. The objective of the project is to ensure the repairs are completed as the leaks have had an impact on the occupant’s ability to occupy office spaces and to also avoid further damage to the infrastructure (please review report). The main cause of the water leaks on the roof are predominately air seal deficiencies at the roof precast wall interfaces. These air seals are typically tied into the building below the roof level and there are not part of the roof project. We have identified that the other areas of leakage are associated with where walls of penthouses/structures meet the roof.
