GOC665884 - Consulting Services - Henry Larson Install LED Floodlights to Replace the Wallpacks

There were a total of 14 x 175 Watt wall packs around the exterior of the building and 2 x 400 Watt floodlights in the parking area. These can be changed to LED for electricity and maintenance savings. The recommendation is to install LED floodlights to replace the wallpacks. The building floodlights can be retrofitted with more efficient LED bulbs. The 2 larger parking lot floodlights can be retrofitted with larger models around more efficient LED bulbs. A high quality LED fixture capable of withstanding minimum ‐40C temperature should be chosen.
Consulting company to provide Investigation, design and Tender Documents for this project in year one of the project. Consultant to check if wall packs and parking lot floodlights are integrated into security panel/emergency lighting electrical panel. Consultant to ensure that all fixtures will need to be integrated with photocells. Design should follow Part 6 of Canada Safety Code. In the 2nd year Contractor will be procured and will begin implementation of the design.
Consultant will be expected to work with BGIS Energy Manager to Consider and present the most energy efficient option and use BGIS Energy Evaluation Tool that is submitted with the IAR. Consultant to investigate any financial incentives. BGIS Energy manager will provide support and review the findings.
