GOC375486-Nick-Consulatnt - Replace Oil Fired Boiler System with Propane Fired System

Mechnanical Consulting Services in support of: Replacing fuel oil fired hot water boiler system with high efficiency gas fired propane system. Current system has reached it's life expectancy. A high efficiency clean burning gas fired system will result in an estimated $8,000 in annual fuel cost savings versus burning oil and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Replacement components are increasingly difficult to obtain. Removal of the oil storage tank will significantly reduce environmental regulatory risks and liabilities. This is the only PWGSC Facility operating in the Ontario Portfolio with an oil fired heating system. It is assumed that the Mechanical Consultant will act as Prime Consultant and allow for and carry costs of all othe Consulting disciplines required to complete the  project.
