Statement of Work/Overview:
The project generally consist in;
• Performing a complete and detailed survey and condition assessment of the various control systems present at the LTDLC complex. Preparation of the survey inventory documents and the BAS and control systems condition report.
• The preparation of the LTDLC complex building automation system Functional Requirements and Replacement Program meeting the requirement of PWGSC’s National Performance Standard (NPS) for Office Buildings
The Building Automation System Functional Requirements and Replacement Program documents shall include Options and Recommendations for;
• Network system architecture (main Ethernet BACnet IP network and subnetworks),
• Network layers,
• Communication protocols,
• Cabling and connectors requirements, specifications, quantities, routes,
• Workstations,
• Routers, Gateways, Field Servers, BACnet Broadcast Management Devices (BBMDs), etc.,
• Field Equipment Controllers, Application Specification Controllers, all programmable logic controllers and relay panels,
• Field Devices,
• I/O point list, summary counts, and control system schematics / diagram for each (typical) controlled and/or monitored systems,
• Replacement program implementation strategy, phasing, impacts, down-time,
• Replacement program costs (detailed breakdown / itemized costs).
• Discussions on the replacement program implementation considerations and recommendations.
