Description

Equip circulation pumps with Variable-Frequency Drives (VFDs) that will regulate the flow based on demand, rather than keeping a constant flow. Equip garage exhaust with Variable-Frequency Drives (VFDs). Currently, the exhaust fans are turned on to circulate the stale air coming from the washroom and building exhaust fans. However, since the parking garage exhaust fans have a higher air flow than the washroom exhaust fans, it is possible to install VFDs on the parking garage exhaust fans in order to reduce the air flow and generate energy savings.

A maximum of five representatives of each Respondent are permitted to attend the site visit. A Respondent is required to provide, in advance, the names of the representatives who will attend. No electronic recording devices of any kind are permitted during the site visit.
If there is not an adequate number of attendees at the scheduled site meeting, BGIS in its sole discretion may provide a second additional scheduled site visit in order to maintain a competitive nature of the solicitation. Additional site visit(s) will be scheduled through Procurement, depending on project size and/or complexity.
Failure of a Respondent to attend a mandatory site visit or teleconference, properly register and remain present for the entire duration of the site meeting or teleconference will entitle BGIS in its sole discretion to reject such Respondent’s Quotation.
