PWG295625-34897 - Repairs to Chillers 4 and 6 Buildings 4 and 10 West

Perform general repairs to two water-cooled centrifugal chillers
 
Scope of work:
 

1. Repairs to Chiller # 4 Building 10 West (York YTG3A3E1-CNJ, s/n GBKM260569):
   1. Removal and recovery of refrigerant from chiller; weigh and record the charge.
   2. Set-up gantry & disassemble coupling.
   3. Remove motor, compressor, impeller and diffuser to access emergency oil sump cover plate.
   4. Replace defective gasket, replace compressor with all new gaskets, replace motor.
   5. Leak test chiller.
   6. Charge chiller with new York “C” type oil.
   7. Evacuate chiller to less than 500 microns.
   8. Charge chiller with refrigerant; add additional refrigerant if required.
   9. Provide halocarbon report.
   10. Perform chiller start-up and verify proper operation.
   11. Leave work area in clean and tidy condition.

1. Repairs to Chiller # 6 Building 4 (Trane CVHE080, s/n L89E01797):
   1. Removal and recovery of refrigerant from chiller; weigh and record the charge.
   2. Dissemble compressor and inspect vanes, motor shaft and seal clearances.
   3. Replace bearings and reassemble chiller complete with new bearings and gaskets.
   4. Reassemble chiller.
   5. Pressurize chiller with nitrogen and leak test.
   6. Evacuate chiller to less than 500 microns.
   7. Charge chiller with refrigerant; add additional refrigerant if required.
   8. Provide halocarbon report.
   9. Perform chiller start-up and verify proper operation.
   10. Leave work area in clean and tidy condition.
