The scope of work is to supply and install all materials necessary to replace the boiler at the facility with one
that has internal thermal shock protection and is a high efficiency unit. The new boiler is to have a three pass
cast iron heat exchanger. The project will also require a compatible boiler interface to include tie into current
DDC system. New Chimney flue and components such as Belimo three way valves, piping insulation and
PVC covering, gauges and valves will also require looking into to replacement and repair, painting of boiler
room floor upon completion. This is to also include the recommissioning of the in floor heating (in all zones),
reprogramming the heating zones so the in floor heating is the primary heat source (with electric remaining as
back up heat), and to revise the AHU programming to control temperature swings. To start up, commission,
and make operable the newly installed system to its intended design. The consultant is to review the existing
in floor heating system and controls. To also provide all required training for operational staff. It should be
noted that work to be performed will be based on the approved option in the Investment Analysis Report, and
subsequent design that will be provided by the consultant. The contractor will be responsible to supply and
install the items outlined in the consultants design
