Description

Provide I&R on the feasibility of providing heat to the loading dock area. Would include, but not

necessarily be limited to, a full evaluation of the existing conditions and options for heating the space.

Each option would include a cost benefit analysis and risk evaluation. The Consultant shall endeavour

to incorporate any new technologies and efficiencies which may be available into the proposed options

and might possibly even consider in floor heating that would address reduced traction levels due to

icing. The availability of mechanical room space for any new equipment is currently limited.

Arrangements to gain some additional space are underway, however, it is unknown at this time whether

this will bear any fruit. This lack of mechanical space for any additional heating equipment would need

to be considered in the study. Report would also include terms of reference and a scope statement for

initiating a design tender.
