GOC327254 – HVAC & Attic Insulation Upgrades
The scope of this project is to replace the perimeter old radiant heating system, terminal units, chiller and expansion tank. The perimeter heating will need to be hooked up to the direct digital control system and replaced with ceiling mounted radiant heat.

• Remove all 27 pneumatic control valves (identified on the original HVAC drawings with a maximum capacity of 258 MBH or 75 kW) and thermostats and replace with electronic DDC valves, digital sensors, and integration into the Building Automation System.
• Retrofit of the chiller will include any heat tracing and coring of the existing building which may include new piping, electrical, balancing and new pumps. The cooling system consists of a Mcquay twin compressor reciprocating chiller, utilizing 80 lbs of R‐22 refrigerant to achieve a maximum of 40 tons cooling. This equipment was installed in 1991 replacing the original equipment.
• Attic insulation & air ducts to be upgraded with rigid style ductwork.

The Consultant must prepare an Investment Analysis report(s) (IAR) for the project. Please see Appendix 7 for IAR template.
