Statement of Work/Overview:

GOC327281 – Install Additional Exterior Lighting
The scope of the project is to install additional exterior lighting as the current exterior lighting is considered to be inadequate. The selected light fixtures should illuminate their area to a target level of 25 LUX (20 LUX minimum) as per the RCMP guide "G1‐005 Physical Security Briefs". The use of energy efficient units is highly recommended.
 
The project scope is to add additional exterior lighting; however it was noted that the interior lights should be evaluated for replacement or re-lamping. Options to include efficiencies in a) Installation cost b) operating cost c) Life Cycle replacement cost.  Provide types of lighting and energy efficiency options.  Replace 8' fixtures with 4' fixtures.  As location is remote ‐ options should be long lasting and efficient to reduce maintenance costs. Seismic restraint if applicable.
 
The Consultant must prepare an Investment Analysis report (IAR) for the project.  Please see Appendix 7 for IAR template.
 
The time zone listed in the RFP documentation is Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). The time zone listed in Merx is Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).  Please be aware of the appropriate closing dates and times according to the RFP documentation PDT.
