GOC333082 - Consultant - Back-up Generator Upgrades

The scope of work is to supply and install all the materials necessary to upgrade / replace the existing backup generator to be a standalone unit that will provide backup power to the entire building. The new generator should have its own fuel source that is part of the unit. This will involve the installation of an exterior concrete pad that is fenced in and a matching automatic transfer switch; it will be incumbent on the consultant to determine appropriate locations for the items associated with the project. It should also include color coded receptacles that are connected to the required zones, if it is determined that the new unit will not have to operate the entire building. To start up, commission, and make operable the newly installed system to its intended design. To also provide all required training for operational staff. It should be noted that work to be performed will be based on the approved option in the Investment Analysis Report, and subsequent design that will be provided by the consultant.
