PWG292638-1 - Sprinkler Head Inventory and Replacement

Project intent is to perform a comprehensive visual audit of the Building 5 sprinkler head configuration in order to create an up to date and current inventory of heads as well as identify any heads that may be defective or in poor functioning condition. Any identified deficiencies within the Building 5 sprinkler head configuration will be provided  along with recommendations for their replacement or repair as warranted.
Section 3.7 – Sprinkler Head Inventory and Replacement of the National Call Letter identifies the requirement within the National Fire Code of Canada (NFCC), Section 6.5, which requires all custodians to have an up-to date inventory of the sprinkler systems in each facility. This allows the custodian to determine the number and types of spare sprinklers to have on site.This survey will also serve to identify any potentially defective sprinklers contained within the site that are tinvolved in a product recall or advisory.
