Description

Due to tunnel decommissioning throughout NRCan campus on Booth St., Bell is forced to relocate all copper and fiber cable residing in the tunnels. A new route has been chosen between Bell & NRC to relocate all cables for buildings 588, 601 & 615 Booth St. Bell will consolidate 8 copper cables from the tunnels in to 3-4 cables going to each building mentioned to minimize conduit installations and have a clearer path. Bell will also relocate one 48 fiber cable from 588 Booth to 615 Booth and cut it over. NRCan will need to place conduits as per agreements on their property and Bell will be placing conduits where ever necessary for the path chosen on city road allowance. Bell will be placing cables in new conduits and existing conduits also going to Bell manhole point to point for all circuit cutovers.

NOTE: This ITT is limited to the trenching and conduit placement portion of the work located on NRCan property only.
