Description

The request is to have a suitable base prepared to receive a satellite terminal on the roof of the 101 Col. By Building. This base will need to be fenced with a door to control access to the site. Approx. Dimension 35 x 35. The tenant will install a terminal on the base which will be covered by a radome to be supplied by the tenant and installed by contractor. Radome spec sheet is attached (appendix A).

New power will need to be run to the terminal location and should be on the emergency backup system and on its own UPS to provide EMSEC filtering. There will be 3 X EMT conduits (3in) that will be installed (by tenant) from the inside of the fenced area to reach the inside of the building for the communication link. The consultant and contractor are responsible for the openings only and are to coordinate with the tenant on conduit installation.

Here are some specs: Terminal curb weight - 2,720 lbs (1233.8 kg), Single-Phase: 110 to 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 20 Amp or Single-Phase: 208 to 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 15 Amp, Complete Radome specs attached. Will need extra power for test equipment (Regular 120 V 10 Amps), Will need lighting inside the Radome.

The radome will require an environmental control unit (heating and cooling) to prevent moisture buildup.

Tenant will take care of lifting the equipment to the roof (Satellite Terminal and Radome). The pad and terminal will need to be installed before the radome.
