Agreement for Consulting Services

Tenant requested planning and design review to allow for relocation of staff for space optimization and an accommodation solution that meets 2.0 fit up standards.

The scope of this project for 2015-2016 fiscal year is to contract a design consultant to conduct planning and a design review to accommodate employees from the second floor of the HSBC Building (Leased space - 299 Victoria Street) into the Oxford Building (Crown Owned - 280 Victoria Street) and relocate employees from the first floor (595.7 m2 usable) of the Oxford building onto the newly acquired space on the third floor (395.3 m2 usable). Design to include a re-fit of the Oxford Building, CRA occupied floors 3 to 6 to optimize the space with a furniture reconfiguration that is compliant with Workplace 2.0 standards.

The implementation of the project will take place in the 2016-2017 fiscal year to ensure that CRA vacates the HSBC Building prior to its lease expiration on July 31, 2017 and will include the relocation of employees and decommissioning the leased site. Fit-up plans for the 3rd floor are to include construction of a public interview room and mail delivery room.
