GOC333100 – Cultural Properties Refresh Restoration is required on the following pieces of art and the method described by Conserve‐Arte assessment is as follows: 1. Woven Tapestry ‐ "Homage to Salish Weavers"‐ An overall vacuum surface cleaning of the overall Homage Tapestry is recommended. 2. Ceramic Wall Mural ‐ "Vision Map of Canada" ‐ Surface cleaning is required to remove accumulated dirt, dust, smears, deposits, and accretions. Localized repairs of (minor) fragile areas at cracked areas. 3. Sculpture ‐ "Abacus" ‐ cleaning to remove accumulated grime, dirt, etc. plus application reversible protective coating (wax) would serve, to a degree, as a protective measure for the steel sculpture. 4. Mixed Media, Photographic Images ‐ "Reflections of Vancouver" ‐ clean and wax wooden cabinet; clean glass; photographic images will be surface cleaned and re‐installed into the glass sections of the artwork. The Consultant must prepare an Investment Analysis Report (IAR) for the project. Please see Appendix 10 for IAR template. The time zone listed in the RFP documentation is Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). The time zone listed in Merx is Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Please be aware of the appropriate closing dates and times according to the RFP documentation PDT.
