Agreement for Contractor Services
 
NRCan currently occupies unit #504 at 800 Burrard Street and needs to accommodate another 5 FTE’s in their office. As such, they will be taking over unit #500 which was formerly occupied by Transport Canada. There is also a requirement to build a new quiet room within their existing space in unit #504.
 
The main aspects of this tenant service project are as follows:
• Construction of a new quiet room in unit #504; verify functionality of mechanical, cable and electrical of future quiet room.
• Disconnect the card reader for unit #500 from Transport Canada’s security system and tie into the Landlord’s system;
• Coordinate the procurement and furniture install for unit #500 (the procurement itself will be done by PWGSC/NRCan);
• Possible replacement of worn carpet, consultant to review;
• Class A Estimate of costs;
• Verify existing electrical connections in suite #500;
• Patch walls & textured panels in suite #500;
• Carpet in #500 to remain, vinyl base needs patching – consultant to review;
• Ready suite #500 for move-in
