GOC325577 Ct - Upgrade Fire System Vesda Units Ct

Work of this Contract comprises of the following:
.1 Refurbish nine (9) Vesda units (VLS214).
.1 Replace internal main chassis including electro-mechanical components. Provide full 2 year warranty. Components available from Tim Hennegan, MLH Fire (450) 473-2602.
.2 Clean and test all aspiration tubes.
.3 Verify system operation and communication with pre-action control system. Provide verification report.
.2 Replace devices for part of the existing fire alarm system.
.1 Fire alarm devices include:
.1 Smoke Detectors using new adaptor bases.
.2 In-duct smoke detectors.
.3 Pull stations.
.4 Heat detectors.
.2 Fire alarm system is Siemens. Components available from Mike Taite (613) 449-3233. Obtain and pay for programming, commissioning, and operation manual updates. Provide operator training on fire alarm system.
.3 Provide independent verification and report of fire alarm system alterations including Vesda unit interfacesa and controls and all replacement devices.
