Consulting Services.
 
Consultant to provide a seismic assessment at 333 Seymour Street for office space on suites 600 and 700. This includes the following:

• Assessment of the entire 6th floor and half the 7th floor (total 1,263.5 m2 office space)
• Assessment to include the furniture placement, desk configuration and overall seismic safety of the office. There are roughly 80 desks in the office (61 closed rooms (offices / lunch rooms / boardrooms / storage rooms) and 21 open spaces (cubicles, reception, storage).
• Assessment to include inventory of current non-structural items within office space (desks, filing cabinets, storage, lighting, partitions etc.).

Consultants to refer to the CAN/CSA-S832-06 Seismic Risk Reduction of Operational and Functional Components (OFCs) of Buildings and review Appendix 9-Seismic Risk Reduction of Non-Structural Building Components.

The assessment is only for the building contents of the office suites and the final report is to include recommended options for proper seismic restraints to building code.

• Assessment to be completed in January 2016, so that the landlord can complete recommendations for seismic restraints by March 31, 2016.
