PWG306023-1 - Cyclical Tree Removal & Replanting (Contractor Services)

The purpose of this project is to remove and replace trees that are dead/dying and could pose a Health and Safety risk during high winds and storms. Trees will be replaced with one tree for every tree that is removed.  An inventory and assessment of all trees identified by BGIS was conducted and summarized in an Arborist Report by Davey Resource Group dated October 2, 2018.  A total of 38 trees and 1 stump have been marked for removal, 3 trees require pruning and 39 trees will be replanted.  The trees were assessed and labelled as #1-42. The trees are located on two Federal sites within the City of Ottawa known as Tunney’s Pasture and Graham Spry Building.
