Description

CFIA has a continuing long term requirement for ten (10) FTEs to be accommodated in their Shippagan Office.  The space requirements will be reduced to approximately 184.1m2u / 235.6 m2r from the existing 222.6 m2u / 285.4 m2r.  This project will conform to the Workplace 2.0 space allocation standards.  Based on Workplace 2.0 and CFIA's FTE requirement, a maximum space allocation of 229.18 m2u / 293.05 m2r is permitted; however CFIA would like to redesign/modernize their existing space and implement WP 2.0 to better suit their operation.  The current CFIA operation in Shippagan is without a kitchenette and a boardroom as per the fit up standards. This project will not only respect the WP 2.0 fit up standards but will also allow CFIA a complete and more contiguous operation at their Shippagan GOCB site for years to come.
