Description

The intent of this project is to save energy by retrofitting all indoor lighting with LED energy efficient lighting and install five (5) VFDs to two (2) existing heating pumps and three (3) existing cooling pumps. The motors on the heating and cooling pumps have been targeted for change to ensure compatibility. The contractor is to provide the following information with formal quote submission: 1. Labour and material costs; 2. Total project cost; 3. Confirm manufacturer warranties; 4. Timing for hardware delivery and installation; 5. Optional pricing costing
6. Price Schedule is to be filled and returned with the quote submission. Contractors are expected to follow all industry Codes, Regulations and safety procedures in completing the work outlined within this ITT. Disposal of any hardware as part of this project must be done so in an environmentally responsible manner with a certificate of recycling provided for incentives program at the conclusion of the removal. The project includes the work outlined in the specification documents.

Event Note

All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site.

All Proponents MUST arrive on time and MUST stay for the entire Mandatory Site Visit. Any Proponent that arrives late or does not stay for the entire Mandatory Site Visit Will be considered noncompliant.

In the event that less than three Proponents attend the site tour, BGIS may cancel the solicitation or schedule an alternative site tour.
