GOC327278 - Upgrade Fire Panel & Related Components

• Replace all existing exit signs with new pictogram style signs.
• Replace fire alarm system and all its related components with a new fully addressable system.
• Replace the remote fire alarm annunciator panel at the main entrance.
• Remove devices where indicated, including removal of redundant wiring and conduit.
• Add new devices where indicated on plans.
• Provide new wiring and conduit as needed.
• Provide Class A wired fire alarm data loop, t-taps are not allowed.
• Provide zone isolation modules and indicate these locations on as-built drawings.
• Provide a complete full riser diagram of the entire fire alarm system, shop drawings and product data.
• If conduit is reusable at pull stations, intercept conduit and extend to new low pull station elevation.
• Provide for all cutting, patch and painting to make good all damages caused by this project work.
• Provide new 15A-1P breaker in main power distribution panel and connect to new fire alarm panel. Disconnect and remove branch circuit wiring from Panel ‘B’ to existing fire alarm panel.
• Rewire and reconnect interlocks to mechanical equipment.
• Provide fire alarm status relay and reconnect to existing DDC panel.
• Commission and verify the fire alarm system and provide a fire alarm verification report.
• Provide all necessary wire, conduit, fitting, and labour necessary to complete the work indicated on plans and specified herein.

• Replace the main distribution panel and branch breakers.
• Replace two secondary panels and branch breakers.
• Disconnect and reconnect feeders to panels and all branch breakers.
• Add new branch circuit from main distribution to new fire alarm control panel.
• Include for all cutting, patching, primer coat and two coats of paint of GWB walls to install longer secondary distribution panels.
• Commission and test all branch circuit for proper function.
• Confirm phase rotation of equipment prior to removing existing distribution panels, ensure phase rotation is correct when reconnecting branch circuits to equipment.
