Description

.1 Installation of sprinkler coverage throughout the ground and second floors.
.2 Correct all sprinkler deficiencies in the basement.
.3 Removal of all 38 mm hoses and valves from fire hose cabinets.
.4 Removal of sections of the gypsum ceiling above the acoustic ceiling on the second floor to accommodate the sprinkler installation; reinstatement of the gypsum ceiling is not required.
Only a portion of this work is included in the initial award. The bid package and specifications outline which work is part of the initial award and which work may be added to the contract if and when required.

QUOTE BREAKDOWN
The submitted quotes shall be broken down into the following:

#1 Basement deficiency repairs, separation of the water supply between the Finance and Finance Annex Building, installation of sprinkler and drain risers and the installation of mains including control equipment (control valves, flow and tamper switches and test and drain valves). Item 1.1.1.1 of the specifications

#2 Separate quotes for the installation of branch lines and sprinkler if:

Installed as part of this mandate simultaneously with the work described in 1.1.1.1 of tender specs
Installed as part of a separate mandate after completion of work described in 1.1.1.1. of tender specs
