The intent of this project is to upgrade interior/exterior lighting of this building to more efficient lighting. The interior lighting is primarily 4, 2 lamp/fixture, T5 lamps (4ft T5s consist of either 1 to 4 lamps per fixture). However, other lights like metal halides and CFLs are also used. Exterior lighting includes 16 Metal Halide lightings. A total of 82 fixtures including interior and exterior fixtures were counted. All fixtures operate total 138 lamps in various sections of the building. (The detailed lighting inventory is listed in Appendix A of energy audit report done in 2016).  Upgrading existing lighting with energy efficient LEDs results in demand reduction and electricity saving. The replacement of existing lights to LEDs is recommended for all the lighting fixtures including T5, metal halides, and CFLs.
