Description

Based on the results of sampling and analysis completed by Buller Crichton Environmental Inc. (BCE), as commissioned by BGIS, Tremolite asbestos, at a concentration of 1% and Chrysotile asbestos, at a concentration of 15% was identified in friable spray applied fireproofing located in the Tower E Catwalk and on structural steel within the south wall cavity of the Cadieux and Robertson Conference rooms. Further, friable stipple over double layered drywall has been identified to contain 1% Chrysotile asbestos in the noted conference rooms.
The work is to be completed within Tower E of the Lester B. Pearson Building, 125 Sussex Drive, Ottawa, Ontario (“Site”).
