GOC375748-CT-RFPQ-3 - Fire Alarm System Upgrade

Request for Pre-Qualification for the: Replacement of the fire alarm system (FAS) for the Main building and Lab building.  There are aspects of the FAS that are not National Building Code (NBC) or Ontario Building Code (OBC) compliant, including deficient coverage of both heat/smoke detectors in non-sprinklered areas and audible/visual alarms throughout the building.  In addition, many fire alarm pull stations have been installed at a height that exceeds code. The Lab Building FAS have reached the end of its service life with continuous maintenance and replacement of parts such as printed circuit boards and batteries.
